MATT DAY
Matt is a versatile powerhouse in the entertainment scene, bringing a rare blend of musical virtuosity, sharp wit, and seasoned emceeing to every stage he graces. His extensive professional background is anchored by an impressive 12-year tenure with the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge band, a role that saw him performing for diverse international audiences in one of Canada’s most iconic settings. Throughout his career, Matt has collaborated with a wide array of esteemed artists and orchestras, refining a performance style that is as polished as it is engaging.
His reputation as a premier host has made him a fixture at high-profile events and a trusted partner for major organizations. Matt’s notable highlights include site-hosting CBC’s 2018 New Year’s special alongside Rick Mercer and leading the City of Edmonton’s massive Canada 150 celebrations.
For over a decade, he has served as the official emcee for the Realtors® Association of Edmonton Awards, while also band-leading and hosting the Boilermakers Awards and the Edmonton Tourism Awards. Whether he is facilitating a prestigious gala or providing comedic musical interludes, Matt’s unique ability to connect with an audience ensures an unforgettable experience.

AMBER BAUER
Amber broke into the Canadian music scene as a piano and Hammond organ player and backup vocalist for Jessie Farrell. At the same time, her solo career took off when George Canyon signed her to Broken Pick Records, leading to her first radio single and full-length album.
Since then, she’s toured across Canada and the U.S. as both a featured artist and side musician, supporting acts like Tenille Townes, Lisa Brokop, Beverley Mahood, The Wilkinsons, and Hailey Benedict. Amber has performed on major Canadian country award stages—provincially at the Alberta CMABs and nationally at the CCMA Legends Show, Gala, and Industry Awards. On those stages, she connected with and supported high-profile artists—including Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Michelle Wright, Lindsay Ell, High Valley, and Gord Bamford—among others.
Fun fact: In 2024, Amber was invited to sing backing vocals for k.d. lang on the CCMA live broadcast, but she was touring with Lisa Brokop in the U.S. at the time.
Amber’s philanthropic spirit shines through partnerships with organizations like World Vision, Food for the Hungry, and Opportunity International Canada. Locally, she has performed with the John Cameron Foundation at their signature event, Crescendo. Additionally, “Unity,” a single she recorded, was commissioned by Opportunity International as a theme song.

With over four decades of musical experience, Gord is a seasoned performer whose career is rooted in deep technical training and a diverse professional history. A graduate of MacEwan University’s prestigious Music Program in Edmonton, he honed his craft under the mentorship of the city’s premier musicians. This elite foundation launched him onto the stages of Edmonton’s most iconic venues and led to frequent appearances across various media outlets.
Gord’s reach extends far beyond his home base; his talent has taken him across borders, with a portfolio of television appearances, radio spots, studio recordings, and live performances throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
In 2011, Gord expanded his artistic repertoire by carving out a niche as a musical humorist. By blending his instrumental mastery with sharp, engaging wit, he has become a sought-after entertainer for corporations and professional associations. Whether he is delivering a soulful set or a comedic performance, Gord continues to bring a unique, high-energy presence to every stage he touches.
